The Blue Gingham Summer Dress was modified from a pattern & created
by Eliza Jayne. The dress is done in medium blue gingham. It has a straight neckline, white scalloped trim at
waist, and a gathered skirt with ivory dots on antique white hem. The straps criss cross and fasten in
the back. It closes with a flower shaped white button. There are a total of 4 hand made bows on this dress (two
in the front, and two in the back) all made with the ivory dots on antique white fabric.
This dress won first place in the Infant & Toddler Clothing Class
at the Del Mar Fair (also known as the San Diego Fair) in 2005. It is not available for sale, however the same dress
style can be made in any color gingham and trims you like.
To place an order for this style dress, please e-mail us with the color of gingham
and bows you would like. The ivory dots on antique white fabric is no longer available (it was an heirloom passed down
from my great grandmother), however a comperable fabric can be found if you like the look.
